My nurturing bone runs deep. And after first witnessing life, my brother, come into this world, I KNEW I wanted to be a labor and delivery nurse.
After 3 and 1/2 years of college, I was placed on bedrest for my own, high risk, pregnancy.
Until I was cleared to go back, I picked up a camera to pass time and fell in love with the art!

Although I have been at this professionally for nearly a decade, photographs became much more precious to me after losing my dad in 2022. My favorite photo of us was placed in his chest pocket; so part of me feels like I am always close to him. The amount of peace that one photo brings is immeasurable. Time is fleeting and we never know how much we have been gifted.
When I photograph you hugging someone you love, snuggling your sweet new baby, or dancing with your dad on your wedding day, I understand and honor how much weight the moment holds, as it will one day be only a memory of the people in it.
